How to rig Chinese pole when not using free-standing rig:
Points (3 or 4, depending on the venue) run from the top of the Chinese pole to floor anchors via cables.
SET UP CONDITIONS
Floor space: Minimum of 6 X 6 meter square.
Height: Min. 5.8m.
Strength of each anchor: Min. 400kg
Environment: Indoors and outdoors possible.
Floor requirements: Dry, clean, flat space.
Weather conditions: Cannot perform in rain.
Examples of possible anchors: trees, posts, stakes, concrete blocks, water barrels, etc.
TISSU
How to rig the tissu when not using free-standing rig:
1 point required to hang the tissu. It doesn't have to be a fixed point.
SET UP CONDITIONS
Floor space: Min. 3m×3m
Height: Min. 6.5m.
Strength: Min. 600kg
Environment: Indoors and outdoors possible.
Floor: Dry space.
Weather conditions: Cannot perform in rain.
Examples of anchors: Steel beams in buildings, crane, truss, etc.
TRAPEZE
How to rig the trapeze when not using free-standing rig:
2 fixed points required to hang the trapeze.
SET UP CONDITIONS
Floor space: Min. 3m×3m
Height: Min. 6m.
Strength: Min. 600kg
Environment: Indoors and outdoors possible.
Floor: Dry space.
Weather conditions : Cannot perform in rain.
Examples of anchors : Steel beams in buildings, crane, truss, etc.
Also if you have only 1 fixed point, there is a way to create 2 points from there.
FREE-STANDING RIG
Free-standing rig accomodates Chinese pole, tissu and trapeze.
SET UP CONDITIONS
Floor space: 7m x 7m x 7m triangle.
Height: Min. 8m.
Environment: Indoors and outdoors possible.
Floor: Dry, clean, relatively level space.
Weather conditions: Cannot perform in rain.
Installation: About 2 hrs (Unloading from van not included).
Strike: About 1 1/2 hrs.
